- Лондонская товарная биржа: один из крупнейших в мире срочных рынков сырьевых товаров, включая какао, кофе, сахар ячмень, картофель, а также фьючерсы на фрахт сухих грузов. Помещение, в которых проводятся торги, было построено в 1811 г., как центр для продажи различных товаров с аукциона, и торговля продолжалась до 1941 г. После второй мировой войны Лондонская товарная биржа возобновила свою деятельность. Официальная дата образования Биржи - 1954 г. В 1987 г. Биржа была переименована в Лондонскую биржу фьючерсов и опционов, но в 1993 г. оригинальное название было восстановлено
